Who we are

At Best Reception, our mission is to provide the friendliest, professional outsourced reception service. Our excellent customer service is at the heart of everything we do. We recognise the value of each call for every one of our clients, so our staff ensure they go the extra mile and treat every business as their own.

Our History and Core Values.

Best Reception was first established in Hertford during 2006. As we grew, we relocated to Ware during 2019, and in 2021, established our second Ware office, just a stone’s throw away.

Since our beginning, our main core value has been to provide exceptional customer service on every call. This remains at our core and continues to drive us forward. Our staff are at the heart of everything we do, we believe in their contributions, opinions and development. We are committed to ensuring our employees work in a comfortable and positive working environment. We ensure this by encouraging inter-office communication and engage staff in office activities by celebrating national days both inside and outside of work as well as individual employees achievements. We believe in a fair wage for our employees, and offer performance reward schemes, which is awarded for their professional character, not solely KPI targets.

Our multiple locations allow us to be resilient, adaptable and reliable for your business. Our technology is receptionist friendly, and our unique Best Reception approach means we are guided throughout the call, rather than using a script, which results in our calls feeling natural and personalised. Our customer focused approach guarantees your callers will feel listened to, with calls feeling ‘human’, rather than an automated style of answering. In order to achieve our familiarity with your business, our staff are trained to learn the smaller details about your work which allows us to treat your company as our own – our client’s callers often believe we are part of their company!

Our Commitment to Training and Development

From the point of joining Best Reception, staff are trained to our high standard of exceptional customer service. Due to this, all our senior staff and management are promoted from within and internally sourced, as this ensures they have a better understanding of our processes towards our way of working.  We invest in the training and development of all staff members of our company. For example, our management team are individually selected on their merit, which is based on their strengths, interests, and performance.

We at Best Reception are constantly striving to improve the processes and procedures and one way in which we help ensure this is by encouraging an open and honest working environment, where all opinions are heard and valued. All staff have a quarterly 1-2-1 performance reviews in which they can address areas they may need support in. We are also able to provide the opportunity to set goals amongst our staff to increase their rate of development within the company.

Our commitment to our staff development was recognised when we received an Investors In People award in 2022, which allows businesses an opportunity to identify their strengths in the workplace, as well as understand areas where they can improve when enhancing workplace culture.
